I recently had the courage to call myself an Artist. This courage took me from hiding my "limitations" to celebrating them with the world. Starting November 23rd i'll have my first art exhibition at Dolcezza Dupont in Washington DC.

Arthritis used to be my limitation. It stripped me away from the ability to use my whole body especially my hands. After painful times I decided to celebrate where and who I am in life at all times during all phases of life - to turn "bad" situations into beautiful ones.

My beauty was channeled when I started painting with what I could still move easily, my fingers, to make the best out of what I had right now. Today I paint with my fingers to remind myself of what beautiful things I can still create despite my disability and to keep on finding new ways to create, love, live and celebrate.

My 3 minute video on why I paint with my fingers.

I hope you find a way to turn the "bad" things in your life into beautiful things. To find that beauty only requires a change in perspective or mindset.

And on that note, if you are in DC, go check out my art and if it speaks to you then you can make it yours!
